Asteriated diamond slices are highly collectible, due to their unique pictorial inclusions. These inclusions are formed by naturally occurring gas clouds, and form patterns and designs such as radiation symbols, maltese crosses and other visually striking displays. These slices have an average weight of about 20 points each, and the slices are indeed thick enough to be used in jewelry.
